Mita’s House – as it’s being built

This website is intended to chronicle the building of Mita’s new house in Vista, California.  It will be updated about once a month with comments and new photos of the construction progress during the past month.   The house is scheduled for completion in the late summer of 2007.  Links to the monthly updates are below.

The two graphics below show the floorplan and a photo of the model of the house – Scheduled for May 2007; may be done by -- Aug 2008??

 

 

Below is a retouched photo of the house.  The columns, driveways, sidewalks, and grass in front of house were digitally added.  What’s actually there now are the large mid-level and upper moldings and the window trim moldings, and the finish stucco.  As can be seen from the photo of the ¼ inch scale model, the actual house is about 1.5 feet taller than planned.  Why = ???
